The free website is for genuine UK small businesses: one owner, a small team, a real trade or practice. I review each application personally, because I build and check every site myself. I won't pretend every application is accepted; if the offer isn't right for your business I'll tell you quickly and honestly.

What it doesn't include
The free files don't include a domain, hosting, managed form delivery, monitoring, changes or support. You confirm that the business details, services, areas, qualifications, reviews and images you give me are accurate and yours to use.

Later, When You Need More Visitors
A good website makes the most of the people who already find you. If you later want more of the right people finding you, that's a different job, and it belongs to Georges Leads, my separate service. It isn't part of the free website, Website Care or the Managed Lead System, and it isn't another website tier. When your site has been live a while and traffic is the next problem, that's the conversation to have.

Is the website really free?
Yes. £0. No card details at any point in the application, and nothing to pay to receive your website. If you take the free files and arrange your own hosting, that's the whole cost to me: nothing, ever.
Why would you build a website for free?
Because it's the easiest way for you to judge me. Some people take the free files and I never hear from them again, and that's fine. Enough people, once they've seen their own business presented properly, ask me to look after the site for them. That's Website Care, and that's how I make my money. No mystery, and no pressure.
What's included in the free website?
Up to five pages, typically Home, Services, About, Contact and one more that suits your business. Written around your services, areas, photos and real reviews, working properly on phones, with your contact details and service areas easy to find. One consolidated revision round is included, I check every page myself before you see it, and you receive a complete export of the files.
What's not included?
A domain, hosting, managed form delivery, monitoring, changes and support aren't part of the free files. The website is a finished set of files; putting it live and making the contact form deliver is either your job, with the short instructions I include, or Website Care's.
Do I need card details to apply?
No. There is no payment step anywhere in the application. Payment only ever comes up if you choose a paid service later, and I arrange that with you personally, never through a form on this website.
Does everyone who applies get a website?
No, and I'd rather say so. The free website is for genuine UK businesses that the offer suits. I read every application myself, and if it isn't a good fit I'll tell you quickly and honestly rather than waste your time.
What is Website Care?
The optional service where I look after your website: managed hosting, SSL, your own domain connected, a working contact form, monitoring, backups, and technical support if anything goes wrong. It doesn't include content changes, SEO campaigns, advertising, or automation; those are separate conversations.
How much is Website Care, and how do I pay for it?
£20 + VAT a month, which is £24 a month at the current VAT rate, with no setup fee. We agree it together on your reveal call and I set it up personally afterwards. You can't pay for it on this website, deliberately: nothing is charged before you've seen your finished website.
Can I host the website myself?
Yes. You can receive a static export of your website files and arrange your own hosting, and I'll include short instructions to help. The site is yours to keep either way.
What happens if I cancel Website Care?
It's rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. At the end of the notice period hosting stops and I hand over a full export of your files. One honest limit: the contact form in those files won't deliver messages until you've arranged your own form handling. That's the practical edge of self-hosting, and I'd rather you know it now.
Will the website bring me more customers?
I don't promise enquiries, rankings or revenue, and I'd distrust anyone who does. What you get is a professional website that presents your business properly: your services, your areas, your real reviews, and an easy way to contact you. The people who do find you are far more likely to call. If you later want more of the right people finding you, that's a separate conversation (see Georges Leads).
